Materials used in this design:
.925 Sterling Silver: Pure silver which is 99.9% pure silver, is relatively soft, so silver is usually alloyed with copper to increase its hardness and strength. Sterling silver is prone to tarnishing, and elements other than copper can be used in alloys to reduce tarnishing.
304 Stainless steel: a more cost-effective alternative to other precious metals, stainless steel is resistant to rust, tarnish, and corrosion even in tropical or humid environments. It also has a thin layer of chromium that prevents oxidation. Unlike other metals, there is no real need to polish it daily.
Even though we have had no reports of adverse skin reactions from our customers, some stainless steel may contain small traces of nickel, so be cautious when purchasing if you have a nickel allergy.
